Nigeria 6-0 Sao Tome and Principe: Oshimen bags hat-trick in Uyo as Eagles ends AFCON qualifiers on high

Nigeria wrapped up their qualifiers for African Cup of Nations tournament with an emphatic win against Sao Tome and Principe. 

On Sunday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria completed the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifications with a 6-0 win against Sao Tome and Principe at the Nest of Champions in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state.

Victor Osimhen of Napoli scored three goals, including a hat-trick, while Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and substitute Samuel Chukwueze all scored goals to help the side finish first in Group A, ahead of Guinea Bissau.
