In The Emirates Stadium, Roy Keane was attacked by a spectator as he was on his way to do his post-game duties for Sky Sports.

While waiting to board a lift that would take him from the top of a stand down to pitch side, the 52-year-old was approached by a man in a hallway.

According to Mail Sport, the guy attempted to headbutt Keane, striking him in the chest and chin but missing the Irishman's vital organs.

Social media videos show Micah Richards, a coworker of Keane's, struggling to detain a guy, but by the time security personnel arrived, the individual had already fled the area.

Alejandro Garnacho had just scored a goal that seemed to have given United the victory when the event occurred.

Theo Walcott, a former player for Arsenal, was working with Keane and Richards, who hurried back to their studio to check what had transpired before the goal was ultimately ruled out.

They were ultimately led down to pitch side where they could resume their broadcast.
