Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former Aston Villa striker, has suggested that Arsenal sell midfielder Thomas Party during the January transfer window.
Agbonlahor said that Partey struggles to stay in shape and that the Ghanaian international performs poorly in certain games.

Remember that Partey transferred from Atletico Madrid to Arsenal in 2020.

Due to a groin injury, the 30-year-old is temporarily out of action. “I would let him go. Some games he’s poor, some games he’s very good, and some games he is injured,” Agbonlahor said on Football Insider.

“When you sit down and work it out, is he giving you more than 50 percent of a season of his best football? Is he doing enough?

“If I were Arsenal, I’d sell him if the money’s right. I think they were trying during the summer. I would look at a long-term replacement because as much as he’s a good player, the injuries will just get worse the older he gets.”
