He was received enthusiastically by Victor Osimhen, an attacker for Napoli and the Nigerian Super Eagles.
Nigerian forward Victor Boniface received his first call-up to the international team after his outstanding performance with Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga won Nigeria a spot in Sunday's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Time.
Nigerians and social media users have responded to the footage of Osimhen speaking German to Boniface on the team bus.
Victor Osimhen shook hands with Victor Boniface and said, "See this man o, (Wie gehts) abi you no dey speak German?"...
Just so you know, Wie gehts translates to "how's it going" in English.
Meanwhile, Soar Super Eagles tweeted: "The Victors link-up" after sharing a video of Victor Osimhen introducing Victor Boniface in German.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are expected to defeat Sao Tome and Principe in their AFCON Qualifiers on Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
If you recall that Nigeria defeated both teams 10-0 in the rematch in June 2022.
