The 22-year-old Brazilian was introduced in the second with the scores tied at 0-0.
The goal came following a long ball from Thomas Partey to Tomiyasu who headed into the path of Kai Havertz.
The Germany international laid the ball for Gabriel Martinelli who struck the ball straight at goal but deflection off the head of Nathan Ake changed the direction of the ball into the net.
