Chilwell had to leave the game against Brighton in the Carabao Cup late.

Chilwell will be out for around two months, according to Chelsea, who were awaiting the results of more tests.

After an eight-week hiatus, Chilwell would return in December. Chelsea has seven games left to play before the end of the year, which includes a challenging stretch of Premier League games and a Carabao Cup fourth-round match against Blackburn.

The former Leicester City defender will reportedly skip the next two international vacations as well.
