Upon posting a picture of their two academy graduates, Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka, captaining the club against Sheffield United, Arsenal supporters went crazy.

On Saturday afternoon at the Emirates stadium, Arsenal defeated the Blades with a resounding victory.

Throughout the entire game, Mikel Arteta's team appeared at ease as they easily defeated Sheffield 5-0.

Eddie Nketiah, 22, was the star of the show as he scored the Gunners' first Premier League hat-trick.

With three points well in hand, the Gunners were led by Fabio Vieira's penalty and Tomiyasu's fifth goal.

Martin Odegaard was rested for the game, therefore Saka took his place wearing the captain's armband.

Mikel Arteta rotated between different positions on the squad while players like Jorginho, Martin Odegaard, and Gabriel Magalhaes were rested for the match.

Shortly after Saka was replaced by Reiss Nelson in the game, the 22-year-old gave Eddie Nketiah the captain armband, which Nketiah wore for the last few minutes of play.
