The late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad's disc jockey Ajisegiri Ayobami, who was there when he passed away, has opened up at Mohbad's coroner's inquest in Ikorodu on Wednesday.
DJ Ajisegiri said that the dead began to throw up after an injection from a nurse.
The late singer Adura Aloba's brother made him some noodles, which he said he puked up.
On Sunday, the witness claims, they went to a performance in Ikorodu. On the way back, their Prado Jeep was stopped, and he saw Mohbad get out of his Jeep and struggle with Primeboy, his companion, before getting hurt.
Furthermore, Ayobami said to the inquest court that while the cut on his hand was minor, it had enlarged by the moment they arrived home at midnight.
He said that they attempted to reach Mohbad's personal nurse, but she responded that she was unavailable. As a result, one of their team members phoned Spending, who said he had a nurse, and they summoned the nurse. The nurse then arrived to give him an injection.
Before the nurse arrived, according to Ayobami, Mohbad was doing well, but he slept off before receiving his injection.
He said that Mohbad's room had water on the floor, so he walked upstairs to fetch a mop and dry the floor when his wife called for him to return.
As the witness arrived, he found that Mohbad was covered with goosebumps and had passed out after eating some Indomie Noodles. He had also fainted on the floor.
He said, “The nurse said we should go and get him drugs; while we were at the pharmacy, I called the house to know how he was feeling, and they said I should come back.
“When I got back, they were already outside trying to put him in a neighbour’s car to get him to the hospital, but the way I saw him, he was lifeless, his eyes were closed, and his hands were falling.
“While we were going to the hospital, there was traffic, so I came down from the other vehicle and ran to the hospital; I asked them if they had an ambulance, and they said no. Before I could get back to them, I saw them bringing Mohbad on a bike, and when we got to the hospital he was confirmed dead,” the witness said.
