The Nigerian megastar Burnaboy made history by being the first musician from her continent to perform in front of a packed stadium in both the UK and the US.
It was gathered that his album, "I Told Them", his most recent album, quickly rose to the the top ten on charts all over the world.
Burna Boy's mother claims that he hasn't yet reached his full potential.
"I admire the diligence, the hard work but he's still a work in progress," Bose Ogulu, who also manages the Afrobeats singer, told the BBC's Nyasha Michelle.
If you remember, Burnaboy's mother was Fela Kuti's manager. She is a skilled entrepreneur and linguist outside of music.
She added, "There are many more milestones to attain. We need to not just step down and look at what we've done, but keep doing more."
