Months after confessing to murdering his fiancée on social media, a Nigerian gambler named Killaboi has been proclaimed sought by the Lagos state police command.
On July 17, killaboi said he "mistakenly" stabbed his fiancée during a fight in a series of tweets sent to his Twitter account.
According to reports, Augusta was absent for days before her mother finally went to Killaboi's home in Oral Estate in the Ikota neighborhood of Lagos State to hunt for her. The mother had attempted to mend the relationship between Augusta and her boyfriend before the event.
Killaboi, who expressed regret for ruining his life at the age of 26, made a pledge to see that his late lover is given justice because he just cannot bear the guilt. He did, however, admit that he fled after killing her out of fear. Since then, he has been hiding.
He has now been listed as sought by the police.
