Man Utd 3-0 Barnsley: Antony scores as Red Devils beat League One side in behind closed door match

On Tuesday afternoon, Manchester United defeated Barnsley in a friendly game with ease, winning 3-0.

In a game played at Carrington behind closed doors, Manchester United faced the League One club.

Erik Ten Hag decided to organize the match to build fitness for players who weren't called up for international duty. 

Both midfielders Donny van de Beek and Antony Santos, who have had difficulty getting into the lineup in recent weeks and months, began the game.

After being accused of domestic violence by ex-partners, Antony has just recently rejoined the first-team roster.

Van de Beek, on the other hand, has played in only one Premier League game this season for the Red Devils, coming on in the 88th minute of their loss to Crystal Palace.

Manchester United will return to action in the Premier League when they travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United after the international break 

The Red Devils haven't been convincing so far in the past few games this season
