Manchester City decided to honour their former player Ilkay Gundogan after naming a training ground after him. The Germany international turned 33 years old on Tuesday 24th of October 2023.
On Ilkay Gundogan's 33rd birthday, Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak honored him by dedicating a training field to him.
At the Man City training facility, a mosaic of his championship-winning goal against Aston Villa from the 2021–2022 campaign is on display.

The 33-year-old scored twice in the final of the FA Cup as well as contributing with goals in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
