The winger broke his goal drought at Craven Cottage after slipping the ball between Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno's legs.
Moments later, somewhat by chance, Moises Caicedo saw Colwill out on the left-hand side, marching forward where Mudryk would have been. This allowed Broja to increase their lead.
Instead, Colwill skillfully found the Ukrainian international in the box, who dinked the ball over Issa Diop.
On his 24th appearance for the Blues, Mudryk touched the ball with his chest before finishing easily and scoring his first goal.
The goal was then nearly immediately doubled when Fulham attempted to play from the back, but a terrible ball from Tim Ream caused the home team to lose control.
As Ream attempted to atone for his oversight, Broja, who had a terrible miss earlier in the game, dove at goal.
However, while he was doing so, the defender kicked the ball towards Broja, and it somehow found its way into the goal.
The Albanian international is making his first Premier League start since December after a catastrophic knee injury, and it is a fairytale comeback for him.
In the month of September, Chelsea failed to score a single goal in the Premier League.
