Cole Palmer stopped Raheem Sterling from attempting the penalty kick for Chelsea against Arsenal.

During their tie with Arsenal, Chelsea threw away a two-goal advantage.

On Saturday at Stamford Bridge, the Blues played to a 2-2 tie at the conclusion of the 90th minute.

Cole Palmer's penalty gave Chelsea the advantage, and Mykhailo Mudryk added another goal to make it 2-0.

Declan Rice scored for Arsenal before Leandro Trossard, a substitute, completed the comeback.

One of the talking points was the exchange between Raheem Sterling and Palmer on who should take Chelsea's penalty kick.

Following considerable debate, Cole Palmer took Chelsea's penalty instead of Raheem Sterling, who had first picked up the ball to take it.

Palmer eventually scored to give the team the lead in the first half at the Bridge in the London derby.

Many Chelsea supporters have encouraged head coach Mauricio Pochettino to enforce his control over the team's penalty taker in the wake of Sterling and Palmer's decision.
