Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken home the Ballon d'Or 2023 Kopa Award.
The 20 years old latest achievement follows Bellingham's two goals on Saturday, which enabled Barcelona to rally and defeat Barcelona.
The English international has been enjoying every moment since he arrived at Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
Given to the top-ranked player under the age of 21 from an impressive selection of candidates who topped the rankings this year.
Rasmus Hojlund, a striker for Man United who shone for Atalanta last season, netting 16 goals in all competitions for the Serie A team, joined Bellingham on the nomination list.
The 20-year-old Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, who has scored three goals in his last two games for the Bundesliga champions—including a brace against Darmstadt this past weekend—joined them as well.
Bellingham's teammate Eduardo Camavinga was also on the roster, along with Gavi and Pedri from Barcelona.
Another acquisition was Xavi Simons, a talented player for RB Leipzig who had a breakout season in which he scored a massive 22 goals in 48 appearances for the German team across all competitions.
