Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham revealed Luka Modric inspired his trivela assist against Girona

Jude Bellingham said that Luka Modric was the inspiration for his trivela assist against Girona.

The English international has revealed that veteran playmaker Luka Modric inspired him since he arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

If you recall that Real Madrid signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the just concluded 2023 transfer window. 

Bellingham has so far settled into Carlo Ancelotti side at Real Madrid, scoring 7 goals in total of 8 games. 

Over the weekend, Jude Bellingham created a master class assist for Joselu to score during Real Madrid 3-0 win over Girona. 

The former Dortmund star flicked the ball is in with the inside of his foot for Joselu who scored the second goal for Madrid. 

ESPN shared a quote from Jude Bellingham saying that Luka Modric inspired him. 

He added that he has been understudying the Croatian midfielder since he arrived Real Madrid. 

Luka Modric is well known for passing the ball with his inside foot, a trade mark skill which the veteran midfielder is known for.
