Bukayo Saka of Arsenal celebrates the 63rd anniversary of Nigeria's independence.
On Sunday evening, October 1, the 22-year-old forward used his Instagram profile to join the globe in commemorating the nation's 63rd Independence Day.
Saka accomplished this by uploading a photo of himself snapping a selfie with a bunch of happy Nigerians while donning a green and white garment. The image was taken by the England international when he was in Lagos, Nigeria between May 31 and June 2023.
Saka only wrote "Happy Independence Day Nigeria!" as the caption for the Instagram image.

Saka, who might have played for the Super Eagles, chose to represent the Three Lions of England instead.
The England international has five goals and four assists for Arsenal so far this season in all competitions.
