Sokratis Papastathopoulos completed his free transfer to the La Liga team.
As you may remember, the Greek defender departed Arsenal in January 2021 after the cancellation of his contract.
In the meanwhile, Sokratis signs with Olympiacos, where he played for two seasons until departing in the summer.
The former Dortmund defender signed a two-year agreement with Betis when his contract expired.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the defender and the team have come to an agreement for him to sign as a free agent.
Earlier today, Sokratis was given a warmth welcome by the rest of the team.
