Supporters' reactions to Francis Ngannou's shocking defeat by Tyson Fury

Francis Ngannou, the former heavyweight champion of the UFC, was unable to surprise Tyson Fury, the WBC boxing champion.

On Saturday, October 28, it was revealed that Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury will square off in a non-title fight in Saudi Arabia.

In the meanwhile, Tyson Fury had to rise from the mat after defeating former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in a very contentious split decision.

Ngannou connected with a left hook in round three, taking Fury the distance and putting him on the canvas.

Although Fury, the current WBC heavyweight champion, was able to bounce back, he finished the fight with a cut across his forehead and a minor scar behind his left eye.

A split vote determined the outcome, and Fury was declared the victor. The British boxer was knocked down in the third round, yet he still won 96-93 and 95-94 on two judges' scores. For Ngannou, the other judge scored 95 to 94.
