Balarabe Abbas Lawal, the ministerial candidate for Kaduna state, fell during the Senate's screening on Wednesday, October 4. This led to chaos in the Senate chambers this afternoon.
Lawal, whose name was included with two others in President Tinubu's submission for screening on Tuesday, October 4, collapsed to the ground while he was being questioned by the MPs.
It was gathered that He's the second candidate to be seen in person. He had just completed speaking to the MPs and was about to take their questions when he collapsed to the ground.
While attempts were made to resurrect the candidate who was present in the chamber, the Senate entered a closed-door session.
