Buchi Comedian Accuses Ex-Wife's Parents of Hindering Contact with His Kids
Onyebuchi Ojieh, popularly known as Buchi Comedian, has once again raised concerns over the denial of access to his children by his ex-wife and her parents.
The comedian lamented the alleged actions of his ex-wife's parents, who hold positions of leadership in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, asserting that they have barred him from communicating with his kids.
Since parting ways with his daughter Rukky, his children have been under the guardianship of his ex-wife's parents in the United States.
Buchi expressed his frustration, accusing them of manipulating the situation by using his children as "bargaining chips" while making exorbitant financial demands.
In a bid to gain communication privileges with his children, Buchi disclosed his refusal to comply with their demand for $1300, insisting that he cannot afford such a substantial sum due to his earnings in Nigeria being in Naira. He highlighted his monthly financial support of N300,000 and expressed his inability to meet their dollar-denominated demand.
The comedian emphasized his capability and willingness to care for his children, citing the time when they were under his guardianship in Nigeria before being relocated to the United States. Additionally, he warned of potential actions against his ex-wife and her family if they persist in obstructing his access to his beloved children.
