Nigerian footballer, Chibuike Nwaiwu, who was recently reported missing by Enyimba FC, the reigning champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), has resurfaced in Israel engaging in training sessions with a different club.
Social media users were left surprised after images of Chibuike in training with a yet to be identified club based in Israel.
This revelation comes in the wake of Enyimba FC's public statement earlier this week, disclosing that the defensive midfielder had been absent from the team without proper authorization from the club's management.
In their official communication, Enyimba emphasized that Nwaiwu remains an active player under their contractual obligations and has not been officially released to join any other football club.
Contrary to the assertions made by Enyimba FC, recent photographic evidence has emerged online, showcasing Chibuike Nwaiwu actively participating in training activities with a new football club based in Israel. This development adds a layer of intrigue to the situation, raising questions about the conflicting narratives surrounding Nwaiwu's status and the circumstances leading to his training abroad.
