Ex Aston Villa winger El Ghazi reacts after his club terminates his contract due to his support for Palestinians

Anwar El Ghazi's contract with Mainz, a Bundesliga team, has been formally terminated with immediate effect.

It has been discovered that FC Mainz has made the decision to let the Egyptian winger to depart the team right away in response to his social media post supporting Palestinians.

You may remember that Anwar El Ghazi, an Aston Villa player in the past, was suspended by the team before being added back to the team.

However, El Ghazi reiterated that he had no regrets about backing Palestine.

Mainz has now terminated the former Aston Villa player's contract as a result of his remarks.

El Ghazi responded on social media with this comment when his contract was terminated.
