Galatasaray vs Manchester United: Onana's Critical Error Leads to Ziyech's Free Kick Goal

In a tense showdown between Galatasaray and Manchester United, the match took a pivotal turn when Andre Onana's critical error allowed Hakim Ziyech to score a crucial free kick goal.

Onana's mishap proved costly for Manchester United, as they conceded the second goal due to his fumble, altering the course of the game.

Since his arrival at Old Trafford, the performance of the Cameroon goalkeeper, Onana, has been below par.

This trend was accentuated during the intense away UEFA Champions League match against Galatasaray, where another blunder from Onana marred Manchester United's performance.

Despite United initially holding a commanding three-goal lead in the second half, courtesy of Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes, and Scott McTominay, the tables turned when Ziyech struck twice to narrow the goal difference.

Notably, the second goal from Ziyech, originating from a free kick, was an opportunity that Onana, ideally, could have thwarted.

André Onana's acquisition by Manchester United for a substantial fee of £45M from Inter Milan, orchestrated by Erik Ten Hag, aimed to fill the void left by the departure of David De Gea.

This high-profile signing was expected to fortify the team's goalkeeping, yet recent performances indicate a struggle for Onana to live up to the lofty expectations set by his acquisition.
