"I'm not happy with Kylian Mbappe" - Luis Enrique says after French striker hat-trick against Reims

Paris Saint-Germain's coach, Luis Enrique, expressed dissatisfaction with Kylian Mbappe's performance, despite the striker securing a hat-trick against Reims.
Despite being named the man of the match for his outstanding contribution to PSG's 3-0 victory on Saturday, Enrique, acknowledging Mbappe's world-class abilities, revealed his discontent with the player.
Mbappe showcased his skills early in the game, securing the lead for PSG just three minutes in and completing his hat-trick with two additional goals in the second half.

Luis Enrique said: “I'm not really happy with Kylian today. I have nothing to say about the goals"

However, Enrique's reservations about Mbappe's overall contribution led him to mention a forthcoming private conversation to explore additional ways the 24-year-old can contribute to the team.

The ex Barcelona coach added, “But he can help the team more, in different ways. He’s world class player, we want more”.

“I'm going to talk to him about it first, it’s private”.

It is worth noting that Mbappe faced exclusion from the Paris Saint-Germain squad during pre-season, following his decision not to extend his contract with the club, which is set to expire in 2024.

The striker had a falling out with the club's hierarchy, resulting in his omission. However, he was later reinstated into the team after matchday two in Ligue 1.
