Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has opted to depart from the Brazil national team camp due to an injury.
Renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Ederson is contending with an injury, forcing him to be sidelined from international duties with Brazil.

During City's recent Premier League clash against Chelsea over the weekend, Ederson actively participated in a thrilling 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.

However, he has since returned to England, having withdrawn from the Brazil squad after sustaining a left foot injury in the game against Chelsea.

The full extent of Ederson's injury is yet to be determined, pending further assessment through upcoming tests in the coming days.

Pep Guardiola remains hopeful that the injury is not of a serious nature, especially with Manchester City scheduled to host Liverpool next week following the international break.
