The Argentine stopper gave up two long-range goals as Unai Emery's team fell short against Forest on Sunday.

Last week, Martinez won the 2023 Ballon d'Or award. As you may remember, Martinez took home the Yashin Trophy in Paris on Monday.

The former goalie for Arsenal was also named the World Cup's top goalkeeper, taking home the Golden Glove in Qatar.

Ola Aina and Orel Mangala each scored two long-range goals that were saved by the Argentina and Aston Villa goalkeeper.

Antony Elanga gave Nottingham the lead when he defeated Matty Cash and passed to Harry Toffolo. Toffolo then deftly set up Aina, who was sprinting, to send the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Martinez, the goalie, dove to his right, but he didn't get to the ball fast enough to stop it from going into his net.

Martinez was forced to scramble to block away a cut-back goal that Mangala blasted from beyond the box, setting up the second goal.
