Enitan Subair's Effort to Set a Guinness World Record Ends in Hospitalization
Enitan Subair, a student at Obafemi Awolowo University, undertook a handwashing marathon with the aim of setting a new Guinness World Record but has found herself in the hospital following the strenuous attempt.
The marathon, which concluded in the early hours of Monday, exceeded Enitan's initial target of 50 hours, lasting a total of 58 hours, as reported on the official handle for the event.
Videos circulating on social media depict Enitan's hands having turned white and wrinkled due to the rigorous handwashing process. Additionally, she was captured lying on a bed in what appears to be a medical ward.
Despite the extended duration of the marathon, the Guinness World Record authorities are yet to confirm Enitan's accomplishment as a new record holder.
