On October 31, Darlyn Morais, a 28-year-old singer from Brazil, passed away following a spider bite at his residence in the northern city of Miranorte.
Morais was reportedly hospitalized on Sunday after experiencing an adverse response to the spider bite on his face. Nov. 6, Monday, was his death date.
According to Morais' wife Jhullyenny Lisboa, his 18-year-old stepdaughter also got bitten by a spider, was hospitalized, and her condition was stable, as reported by G1, a Brazilian news source.
Lisboa said that after the bite, Morais developed physical exhaustion and that the color of the bruise on his face began to shift.
Later in the week, Morais experienced allergic responses. He went to a hospital in Miranorte, where he received treatment before being released on Friday.
Morais began singing forró, a prominent kind of music in Brazil's northeast area based on a mix of accordion, zabumba, and metal triangle, when he was 15 years old. His brother and a buddy were in his modest three-piece band.
