Vice President Kashim Shettima was greeted with a gracious reception upon his arrival in Anambra state. Governor Chukwuma Soludo personally extended a warm welcome to the Vice President at the Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri.
During the welcoming ceremony, Shettima showcased his respect for the local culture by adorning himself in the traditional attire of the eastern region. Notably, the Vice President donned a distinctive shirt fashioned from the 'Isiagu' fabric.
The 'Isiagu' fabric derives its name from the symbolism of a lion's head, representing the striking design imprinted on the fabric. The display of this traditional attire by Vice President Shettima during his visit highlighted the cultural richness and diversity that Anambra proudly embraces.
