Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the team's health after a 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League.

In their final group stage match, Arsenal secured their qualification, prompting Arteta to implement some lineup changes. Mohamed Elneny, Reiss Nelson, and Cedric Soares were among those who started, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale making his Champions League debut.

The Gunners took the lead before halftime with a remarkable play from Reiss Nelson, leading to a goal by Eddie Nketiah. However, a second-half error by William Saliba allowed PSV to equalize.

After the game, Arteta confirmed injuries to Elneny and Nelson, with the Egyptian leaving the field due to what seemed to be a hamstring issue, and Reiss Nelson also affected.

Arteta expressed his disappointment, stating to TNT Sports: “It’s a shame on Mo as well because he felt something, Reiss as well.”
