Former Big Brother Naija reality star , Josephine Otabor, widely known as Phyna, finds herself in the midst of a police investigation.
This comes regarding the reality star alleged failure to return a wig rented from a prominent wig vendor.
It was gathered that the controversy arose when a hair vendor publicly accused Phyna of not adhering to the agreed-upon return date for a wig she had rented.
Initially refuting the claims, Phyna later conceded that she did return the wig after facing public scrutiny. However, she asserted that the hair vendor rejected the returned item.
In her defense, the reality star argued that she chose to retain the wig due to damages inflicted by the hair vendor, which she deemed to exceed the wig's value.
Phyna recounted that the hair vendor, accompanied by the police, visited her residence in her absence and left a letter regarding the matter.
Phyna said, “Yesterday, my younger sister called me and said I’ve visitors in my house. I asked who they were and she said two policemen, the hairstylist and one woman. I asked who the woman was but she said she doesn’t know the woman. “
And they dropped a letter. Because it’s from the police I want to know what to do. It reads, ‘This is the Nigeria Police. Invitation to the police.’ They now put my name, my address. Then it continued, ‘From the DPO Nigeria Police Ogudu.’ I don’t know where Ogudu is, but I will find out.”
