Cesc Fabregas Resigns as Manager of Club Ownership One Month After Taking Charge

Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has stepped down from his managerial role at Como, the club he owns, just a month after assuming the position.

The decision reportedly stems from Fabregas lacking the required coaching badges, prompting the former Spanish midfielder to make this choice. Fabregas had assumed the managerial role at the Serie B side following the dismissal of Moreno Longo.

Despite his brief stint, the 36-year-old Fabregas achieved commendable results, securing three wins in five matches while concurrently pursuing his coaching badges.

In light of Fabregas's departure, Como has appointed Osian Roberts, formerly Patrick Vieira's assistant manager at Crystal Palace, to take charge.
Expressing enthusiasm about the new appointment, Fabregas stated, "We are thrilled to welcome Osian Roberts to our football family. With his exceptional track record in developing players and coaches, we envision Roberts as a long-term architect of success across all age groups and levels."

Como looks forward to a promising future with Roberts at the helm, and Fabregas concluded, "We believe that with this appointment we have the right experience to create the blueprint for the ambitious Como playing vision. Together, we embark on a new era of footballing success."
