Manchester City Faces Key Player Absences in Weekend Premier League Fixture
In anticipation of their weekend clash against Sheffield United at the Etihad Stadium, Pep Guardiola has officially declared the unavailability of four prominent Manchester City players.

The Cityzens, coming off a triumphant 3-1 victory against Everton on Wednesday night, are set to face Sheffield United on Saturday evening.

Guardiola disclosed that Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku, and John Stones will be sidelined for the upcoming match. Haaland, recently recovering from a foot injury, seems not yet match-fit.

De Bruyne, who has been sidelined since August due to injury, underwent solitary training during the FIFA Club World Cup games in Saudi Arabia last week. Jeremy Doku continues to grapple with a lingering muscle injury that has kept him out of action for over a month.

Despite the absence of these key players, Manchester City remains the favorite against Sheffield United, currently positioned at the bottom of the league table. A victory for City could propel them to a joint-point standing with second-placed Arsenal.
