Former Fulham captain Danny Murphy recently lauded Arsenal's Declan Rice for his outstanding performance against Liverpool.

The 24-year-old midfielder exhibited yet another stellar display, earning himself the man of the match title as Arsenal secured a 1-1 draw against the formidable Liverpool side.

Rice's commanding presence in midfield significantly contributed to Arsenal's control of possession throughout the game, prompting retired Premier League player Danny Murphy to commend his abilities.

Expressing his admiration, Murphy suggested that if Declan Rice, currently with Arsenal, were to play for Liverpool, the Anfield club would secure the Premier League title. Additionally, Murphy emphasized the pivotal role of William Saliba within the Gunners' setup.

Saliba, the 22-year-old French defender, experienced his maiden appearance at Anfield, impressing spectators with his performance. Since joining Arsenal last season, Saliba has emerged as a revelation for the team.

Murphy further highlighted, "This game highlighted the indispensable nature of both Rice and William Saliba in Mikel Arteta's squad. They represent the cornerstone players necessary for Arsenal's pursuit of the Premier League trophy. Their presence on the field guarantees a competitive edge, capable of securing results in any venue."

Continuing his analysis, Murphy underscored Liverpool's potential need for a player of Rice's caliber, stating, "This match reinforced how vital a player like Rice is for Liverpool. If Rice donned the Liverpool shirt, I believe they would clinch the Premier League title. That's the level of impact he possesses."
