Luton Town's head coach, Rob Edwards, offers insights into the current status of Captain Tom Lockyer following his recent cardiac arrest.
Rob Edwards, the coach of Luton Town, has provided an update on the health of Captain Tom Lockyer after the player experienced a cardiac arrest.
Lockyer was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago after collapsing during a match against Bournemouth. The emotional impact led to the suspension of the game, with both teams agreeing to a replay.
Fortunately, Tom Lockyer has been discharged from the hospital and is now at home, recuperating with his family.
According to Rob Edwards, "He is progressing. He seems bored already, but in generally good spirits... He was taking the mick out of my Christmas trainers... so yeah, he is doing well."
Despite his positive recovery, Lockyer has not yet returned to training as Luton Town prepares to face Chelsea this weekend.
