Arsenal boss confirms Gabriel Martinelli's availability for upcoming Premier League fixture

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has officially confirmed that Gabriel Martinelli will be available for their imminent Premier League encounter.

The Gunners are set to host Brighton Hove Albion in what promises to be an intense Premier League clash this Sunday afternoon.

Seeking to rebound from their recent disappointment against Aston Villa, Arsenal aims to regain momentum in this crucial fixture.

Addressing the media, Mikel Arteta reiterated Martinelli's inclusion in the forthcoming game. The 21-year-old forward had missed Arsenal's draw against PSV due to an illness that kept him in London for recovery, preventing his participation in the match against PSV Eindhoven.

Arteta also confirmed the injury to Mohamed Elneny's hamstring. Despite starting the game against PSV, Elneny had to be substituted during the second half due to the hamstring issue.

In his own words, Arteta stated, “Martinelli is feeling good. We have no other news apart from Mo [Elneny]. Mo had to be subbed because he felt something with his hamstring. We did a scan & it doesn’t look too serious so he’s going to be with us I think very soon, which is good news.”

With Martinelli's return and the positive update on Elneny's injury, Arsenal anticipates strengthening their squad for the upcoming clash against Brighton.
