Nigerian comedian, Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof, has expressed regret and issued an apology to singer Duncan Mighty.
This follows Mr Jollof's recent public call-out of Duncan Mighty for allegedly failing to fulfill his contractual obligations, despite being remunerated with a sum of N3 million.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Mr Jollof clarified that his initial accusations were based on misguided advice regarding the singer's purported reluctance to reimburse him. He humbly acknowledged the impact of hasty reactions influenced by societal stereotypes and emphasized his disbelief in Duncan Mighty's intent to deceive.
"Bros, abeg no vex. We youths we are quick to react due to stigmatisation. I didn’t believe you would scam me, but the advices I was receiving from people was why I called you out. Please don't be angry with me. All my threats were mere rantings. Forgive me, I'm not perfect."
