Nigerian comedian, Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof, has voiced his grievances against singer Duncan Mighty for purportedly failing to fulfill his commitment to perform at a concert in Warri, Delta State. Despite a payment of N3 million, consisting of a N2 million booking fee and N1 million for logistics, Duncan Mighty reportedly did not appear, even after the event's duration was extended until 3 am.
Mr Jollof, in a video message shared on his Instagram page, revealed that he extended the concert's closing time from midnight to 3 am, hoping that Duncan Mighty would honor his commitment. Expressing his disappointment, Mr Jollof stated, "After the show closed around 3:27 am, I sent Duncan Mighty a video, informing him that the event has ended that he should turn back and I sent him my account details to refund me."
The comedian discovered the next day that he received an alert of N800,000 from Duncan Mighty, falling short of the N3 million he initially paid. Mr Jollof urged those close to the singer to advise him to refund the full amount.
Notably, Mr Jollof also called out DJ Barbie for a similar no-show at the event after receiving a payment of N600,000. When requesting a refund, he claimed that DJ Barbie blocked him on social media, accusing him of bullying.
