FC Nantes expressed their delight in an official statement, proclaiming, "FC Nantes is very pleased to announce the contract extension of Moses Simon (28 years old)." The Nigerian winger, who initially joined the club in the summer of 2019 from Levante Unión Deportiva in La Liga, Spain, has chosen to extend his journey with the yellow and green colors of FC Nantes.

Simon's decision to renew his contract appears to be fueled by his positive experiences in France. Demonstrating his prowess on the field, he has notched up three goals and contributed five assists in 16 appearances for Nantes during the ongoing 2023/24 campaign in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

The club's statement emphasized his growing influence, stating, "He is now linked to the Club des bords de l’Erdre until 2026. He has made a name for himself on the pitches of Ligue 1 Uber Eats since his arrival at Maison Jaune."

A brief look into Simon's football journey reveals that the 28-year-old initially joined Nantes from KAA Gent in the summer of 2019. Over the course of his time with the club, he has showcased his skill by netting 25 goals and contributing 27 assists in 140 Ligue 1 appearances, solidifying his status as a key player for FC Nantes.
