Maurizio Sarri Expresses Desire to Challenge Barcelona in UEFA Champions League Round of 16
Former Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri has unveiled his wish to encounter Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.

Now the coach of Lazio, Maurizio Sarri has conveyed his preference for a draw against Barcelona.
Despite a 2-0 loss to Atlético Madrid, Lazio secured a spot in the Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday night.
Sarri's side finished second in group E with 10 points, trailing four points behind group leaders Atlético Madrid.
Maurizio Sarri, Lazio's manager, expressed, “I’d like to face Barcelona in the UCL round of 16, honestly. It’d be my pick as I’ve never faced Barça as a coach, and it’d be a wonderful experience,” during an interview with Sky Sport.
The draw for the round of 16 games is scheduled for next Monday.
Having previously achieved European success by winning the Europa League with Chelsea, Sarri aspires to guide Lazio to the UCL final.
