Mohamed Salah is expected to miss the next two games at the AFCON.
The 31-year-old forward was forced off due to an injury during Egypt vs Ghana clash days ago.

The Liverpool forward sustained the injury in the closing stages of the first half as Egypt were held to a 2-2 draw.

Apparently, the Egyptian Federation have now confirmed that their talisman has suffered strain in the hamstring muscle. This means that Salah will be ruled out of their final group stage match against Cape Verde and in the Round of 16 in the case of qualification.
The statement reads, “the injury of Mo Salah with a strain in the hamstring muscle will cause him to miss two matches in the Africa Cup of Nations against Cape Verde and in the Round of 16 in the case of qualification”.

Egypt currently have two points so far after draws against Mozambique and Ghana respectively
