Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has withdrawn from the squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations due to injury.
Wilfred Ndidi missed Leicester’s 4-1 mauling of Huddersfield Town on New Year’s Day.
The midfielder who currently plays for Leicester City in the English Championship picked up an injury which has ruled him out of AFCON 2023.
Super Eagles of Nigeria Twitter timeline confirmed that Ndidi has been replaced with Alhassan Yusuf.
It's been gathered that Alhassan Yusuf is a professional footballer from Nigeria who plays as a Midfielderfor Royal Antwerp.
Meanwhile Nigeria will kick of their campaign against Equatorial Guinea on January 14th.
Reportminds Blog understands that 17 players have arrived the Super Eagles camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The players will camp in Abu Dhabi in preparation for the AFCON before they return to Nigeria for their Farwell party before departing to Ivory Coast on January 12.
