The starting XI of Nigeria against Equatorial Guinea has been revealed ahead of their opening group stage match at AFCON.
Jose Peseiro has handed debuts to goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali ahead of the regular Francis Uzoho.
While midfielder Alhassan Yusuf makes his first appearance for Nigeria after he replaced injured Wilfred Ndidi.
The fans have also been boosted with the arrival of Kelechi And who had an injury scare but looked to have recovered. Iheanacho makes the bench after he joined the team late along with Paul Onuachu who replaced injured Sadiq Umar.
William Troost Ekong will wear the captain armband as he will be in defense along with Ajayi. Ola Aina will play at the right and Zaidu Sanusi at the left back.
In the midfield, Frank Onyeka will play along with Alhassan Yusuf and Alex Iwobi.
Victor Osimhen will lead the attack for Nigeria, he will be flanked by Moses and Lookman
