The 25-year-old full-back who is sidelined with a calf injury has been under the criticism for his defending recently in Draw against Liverpool
Mikel Arteta handed Jakob Kiwor a starting shirt against Fulham last week but he struggled at the position.
This has left many fans calling for Kieran Tierney to be recalled from his loan at Sociedad.
Meanwhile the former Celtic defender has confirmed that he wants to finish his loan with the Scottish side.
Kieran Tierney said: “Several people have already asked me if I was going to return to Arsenal now & the answer is no. I’m going to stay here [Real Sociedad] for sure. As for staying here longer, the decision is not mine, but the only thing I can say is that I love playing for Real.”
Kieran Tierney spoke about his relationship with Mikel Arteta with several suggestion that things weren't going well which lead to the fall out.
But the 25-year-old defender admitted that injuries played its part in his playing time at the Emirates stadium.
He added, “Everything is fine with him [Arteta]. Last year, I didn’t play & spent a lot of time on the bench, but this is football, I have no problem with it. I had almost no injuries, I played about 30 games, many coming off the bench, but I felt fine.”
