Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho was spotted in gym working on his fitness as he looks to be fit for the upcoming AFCON
The Leicester City forward was included in the Super Eagles of Nigeria squad for the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Côte D'Ivoire.
Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho suffered an injury last week while playing for Leicester City in the Championship.
Although, there are positive signs that Iheanacho can still be available for Jose Peseiro side at the AFCON
Nigerian journalist Pooja posted video of Kelechi Iheanacho carrying out some exercises.
Iheanacho scored five goals from 19 games played for Leicester City in the Championship this season.
Nigeria will play their first game against Equatorial Guinea on January 14th.
Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho Leicester City's team mate Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of the AFCON.
The midfielder sustained an injury while playing for the Foxes in mid week and doesn't look like he will recover before the tournament kick off next week.
It's been gathered that Ndidi has been replaced by Alhassan Yusuf who plays a modffor Royal Antwerp.
