Man City dealt injury blow after Gk Ederson was substituted after 7 minutes against Newcastle United

Ederson has sustained a injury in the early minutes of Manchester City Premier League clash with Newcastle United

The Citizens travel to St James park in their Premier League encounter on Saturday evening. 

Pep Guardiola side have suffered a serious blow after goalkeeper was forced off after seven minutes. 

This injury came after Newcastle United thought they had scored when Sean Longstaff put the ball in the net but was ruled out for offside after just two minutes. 

Earlier before the goal, Sean Longstaff was involved in a collision with Ederson which could have caused the injury.

Then, Guardiola called up Ortega to replace Ederson who walked straight into the dressing room for more examination on the injury 

Meanwhile,City took the lead after 27 minutes with a fine finish from Bernardo who fires Man City ahead

But in the 35 minutes, Isak pulls Newcastle level after he connected to pass from Bruno Guimaraes before he curled the ball pass Ortega. 

In the 37 minute, Gordon fires Newcastle ahead to make it 2-1.
