Arsenal's midfielder, Thomas Partey, has been omitted from Ghana's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations this month, as he continues his rehabilitation from a thigh injury.
Ghana's manager, Chris Hughton, provided insights on Monday, highlighting the cautious approach both the club and the national team are taking with Partey, who sustained the thigh injury in October.
Following the injury, the midfielder underwent a minor surgery the subsequent month with the hope of returning in time to participate for Arsenal before the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on January 13.
