Tension Unfolds as Arsenal Secures 2-1 Victory Over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night at the City Ground.

After a goalless first half, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka secured a triumphant second half for Arsenal in their 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest.

In the 65th minute, Gabriel Jesus found the net, breaking the deadlock, while Bukayo Saka extended the lead just seven minutes later.

However, Taiwo Awoniyi's late goal for Forest, one minute before full-time, marked his return from a groin injury and reignited the contest.

Post-match, a heated confrontation unfolded between Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko, triggered by their dissatisfaction with the conceded late goal.

According to Sky Sports, the players were upset about Taiwo Awoniyi's strike prompting a VAR check, which confirmed Gonzalo Montiel's onside position on the attacking right flank. However, the check revealed Zinchenko lagging behind the defensive line, inadvertently playing Awoniyi onside and allowing the goal.

White's reported expression of discontent at the final whistle was believed to stem from Zinchenko's positioning error, which facilitated Forest's late goal against Arsenal.
