Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta, has shed light on the fitness statuses of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Jurrien Timber as the Gunners gear up for their imminent Premier League encounter against Sheffield United.

Arsenal is gearing up for their upcoming Premier League fixture against Sheffield United this weekend. The Gunners are set to visit Bramall Lane on Monday night for a late kickoff.

Displaying a commendable streak of form, Arsenal remains undefeated in their recent Premier League outings.

In preparation for the forthcoming match, Arsenal players convened at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday afternoon for a rigorous training session.

Mikel Arteta has disclosed the anticipated return dates for Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, and Timber.

1. Oleksandr Zinchenko:

The Ukrainian defender has been sidelined for several matches due to an injury concern.

Reports suggest that Zinchenko has been grappling with a calf issue, although Arteta remains optimistic about the possibility of his inclusion in the Sheffield game.

2. Takehiro Tomiyasu:

The Japanese player purportedly sustained an injury during Asian Games competition.

It has been noted that Tomiyasu has yet to make an appearance for Arsenal due to a muscular ailment.

3. Jurrien Timber:

The 22-year-old defender was recently spotted participating in training for the first time since August of last year.

Timber's injury woes trace back to his Premier League debut match against Nottingham Forest.

Despite joining Ajax last summer and overcoming an ACL injury, Timber remains on the path to full recovery.

In anticipation of the upcoming fixture, Mikel Arteta commented on the statuses of Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, and Timber, stating, "Those ones are possible but we have to wait & see, especially with the last two sessions that we have on Saturday & Sunday. If that’s the case, they might be available on Monday. Jurrien is NOT close enough to be part of the squad on Monday."
